HTC Triumph with Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh / Tango in China

The HTC Triumph smartphone has just appeared in China and also gets unboxed. This HTC handset is basically a rebranded the previous model, HTC Titan.
Running on Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh / Tango OS, new HTC Triumph is boasted by a 1.5GHz single-core processor and 16GB of onboard memory.

The Triumph smartphone packs a large 4.7-inch touchscreen WVGA display paired with an 8 megapixel camera on back and a front-facing 1.3MP camera.

As noted, other Windows Phone devices in China will be launched by Nokia (likely the Lumia 719C and Lumia 800C).

ZTE Fury low-end smartphone made official

ZTE has finally announced availability of its new budget-friendly smartphone, the ZTE Fury. New handset is exclusive sold by Sprint beginning March 11 for cost of just $19.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a 2-year contract.
The ZTE Fury smartphone is first appeared early this month and aimed to enter budget market.
New Fury smartphone is applied to the single-core 1.0GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8655 processor paired with 4GB of built-in storage and expandable via MicroSD card support (up to 32GB).

Sprint ZTE Fury family-friendly handset packs a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. It has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a 5 megapixels camera, FM tuner, accelerometer and proximity sensor. There is a MicroUSB 2.0 port and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.
Running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, the ZTE Fury sports a battery capacity of 1500 mAh.

Caterpillar CAT B10 rugged smartphone

Caterpillar, one of the world’s largest construction equipment makers, announced a new rugged smartphone dubbed the CAT B10. Like the Samsung Rugby Smart and the Motorola Defy+, the new device is meets IP67-certified that shock resistance, up to 30 minutes in water (submerged up to 1-meter deep), and temperature extreme.
The Caterpillar CAT B10 rugged smartphone has an 3.2-inch touch-sensitive display that protected by scratch resistant Asahi Glass (Corning’s competitor). Moreover, the heart of CAT B10 is a 800MHz Qualcomm single-core processor.

Running on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS (updated Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich later), Caterpillar CAT B10 is equipped with a rear 5MP camera, a front-facing camera for video calls, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The Caterpillar CAT B10 rugged smartphone will be available worldwide in the end of May 2012. In European market, the Caterpillar B10 is set cost of €379 no-contract (about $500).

HTC Evo 3D smartphone in the UK

Already available at just £229, the HTC Evo 3D smartphone is also listed in the UK over ASDA. This HTC handset is sold just £207 (about $325) SIM-free and unlocked that cheaper than previous it.

New HTC Evo 3D smartphone boasts a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 1GB of onboard storage, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

The Evo 3D phone has a 4.3-inch 3D capacitive touchscreen display with 540 x 960 resolutions, a dual-5MP cameras that enable to capturing 3D pictures and videos, and a front-facing 1.3MP camera.

Other feature of HTC Evo 3D smartphone is equipped with 3G, a microSD card slot, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, and a 1730mAh battery.

New iPhone might follow new iPad

The new iPad was introduced just a couple of days ago, and the naming convention definitely caught a lot of people by surprise. Of course, a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet, and the same case applies here with the new iPad. So much for the iPad 3 or the iPad HD, right? Having said that, we also know that there is a very high possibility of a new iPhone in the pipeline, and instead of calling it the iPhone 5, perhaps Apple might be looking into rebooting the smartphone’s name and starting all over again – in the same vein as that of the new iPad, of course.

Would you like the new iPhone moniker, or would you prefer a numerical suffix at the end of it? Perhaps, as Apple moves towards simplifying their product lines, and cutting down the number in the name would have a certain amount of mileage. There are also whispers that the new iPhone will, in all probability, run on iOS 6, touted to be the next version of Apple’s mobile operating system.

Three UK launched Sony Xperia S smartphone

Three UK has officially announced to launch the Sony Xperia S smartphone. The carrier is become the first UK network to selling this smartphone. You can purchase the Sony Xperia S smartphone for priced at £369.99 (about €442) on Pay As You Go but also offer it for free with monthly plans (at least £30 per month).

Running on Android Gingerbread OS, the Xperia S phone has a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and 32GB of onboard memory.
Coming with unique design, new Sony Xperia S packs a 4.3-inch touchscreen HD Reality Display with Mobile Bravia Engine, a 12MP camera on back with Exmor R sensor, 3D sweep panorama and 1080p video recording, and a front-facing 1.3MP camera. Other feature is Wi-Fi, HSPA, GPS, and NFC capabilities.

iPhone Damask Edition is one metallic phone

While the whole world’s attention is now focused on the upcoming iPad 3/iPad HD, the folks over at Sun & Moon Jewelry Studio haven’t forgotten about the iPhone 4. The company has just introduced its iPhone Damask Edition – a customized version of the iPhone which utilizes Damascus steel to give the device a unique look. It has a Damascus steel backplate, and alloy composite steel for the protective frames on the rear and front of the phone.

The Apple logo is made from 16K gold with the option to upgrade to 18k gold, palladium or platinum just in case it isn’t flashy enough for you, and the home button is made from natural topaz, which can again be upgraded to alexandrite, emerald, garnet or sapphire. No word on pricing for the iPhone Damask Edition but we can guarantee you it’s not going to be cheap.

Samsung Galaxy Pocket announced

Samsung has added yet another phone to its lineup of Galaxy devices. This time it’s called the Galaxy Pocket and it features a tiny form factor, unlike its much larger flagship brethren – the Galaxy S2. The Galaxy Pocket will have a 2.8″ (240 x 320) display, an 832MHz processor, Android 2.3 TouchWiz, 3GB of internal storage,  microSD card slot, Bluetooth, WiFi, and a 2-megapixel rear camera. The phone will be available later this month in Europe, CIS, Latin America, Southeast and Southwest Asia, the Middle East, Africa and China.

LG Optimus L3 L-Style smartphone

The LG Optimus L3 as one of L-Style series smartphone will be introduced in Europe this month. LG has officially announced its first L-style phone enter the market. According to press release, the LG Optimus L3 smartphone will also arriving in Russia and Asia then other markets after hitting European shelves.

Coming with Modern Square Style and Harmonized Design Contrast paired with metallic accents, the Optimus L3 is a premium design and act as an on-the-go socializing device. In additional, it has four color options – black, white, hot pink and blue.

Inside of LG Optimus L3 packs an 800MHz dual-core processor, 150MB of internal memory, 2GB of RAM, and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The LG Optimus L3 smartphone has a 3.2-inch QGVA display, a 3MP camera, and a 1,500mAh battery.

Dimensions of LG Optimus L3 are 102.6 x 61.6 x 11.85 mm.

Samsung Galaxy S Advance arrives at the FCC

The good people over at the FCC have taken a look at the Samsung Galaxy S Advance, and you can be more or less sure that they are extremely satisfied with the smartphone having given their collective nods of approval. Of course, with all the checking and testing going on behind closed doors, some of the test reports revealed point towards the support for GSM 850/1900 bands as well as WCDMA bands 850/1900, in addition to dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth connectivity. Other than that, we do know that the Samsung Galaxy S Advance will carry a 4″ Super AMOLED display, a dual-core 1GHz processor, a 5-megapixel shooter at the back as well as a pretty standard 1,500mAh battery. It does seem like a pity that Android 2.3 Gingerbread will run the Samsung Galaxy S Advance right out of the box, so keep your fingers crossed for an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update will be released in the near future.
