BLACKBERRY DAKOTA SMARTPHONE
The Canadian company, Research In Motion (RIM) is preparing to release a new BlackBerry smartphone that namely the BlackBerry Dakota. Its exterior is just like all previous models of the BlackBerry, but functionally is certainly a breakthrough for RIM.
BlackBerry Dakota smartphone has features a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen display with resolution of 640 x 480 pixels (VGA), a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, image stabilizer function, and record HD video, Near Field Communication (NFC), 768MB of RAM, a 4GB of storage space, accelerometer, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n. There is magnetometer, but for what is not specified.
The BlackBerry Dakota can act as an access point with 3G mobile hotspot. The handset is running on BlackBerry OS 6.1. It is works with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA.
The thickness of the BlackBerry Dakota is just 10.5 mm. No word on pricing or availability of BlackBerry Dakota on market at moment.
