Samsung SCH-W999 Android Smartphone

Samsung is preparing release a new clamshell Android smartphone in China, the Samsung SCH-W999. This flip phone is successor to the Samsung SCH-W899 smartphone that launched last year. New Samsung SCH-W999 is allowing users to use this device as a clamshell or a regular candybar form.

Spec wise, the Samsung SCH-W999 is runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS paired with two OLED-based displays with WVGA (800 x 480) resolution.

NTT Docomo F-12C Globe-Trotter Classic Special Edition Smartphone

The Japanese mobile carrier, NTT DoCoMo is ready to release a new version of Fujitsu F-12C smartphone on market with limited edition.

New Fujitsu device is called the NTT Docomo F-12C Globetrotter Classic Special Edition and will be available only 5,000 units (to ensure exclusively available, there is serial number for every unit).

The F-12C Globetrotter Classic Special edition is brings a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with 800 x 480 resolutions, and a rear-facing 8.1 megapixel CMOS camera. New Globe-Trotter Classic smartphone is also pre-loaded with wallpapers and comes in a classic orange color for enclosure.

ZTE Memo QWERTY candybar featurephone at Cricket

Cricket has added a new phone to its lineup. Unlike most of the devices we’re used to covering, this isn’t a smartphone. However, it is very cheap and comes with a few neat features.

First things first, though. Since this is a phone that comes in a BlackBerry-esque form factor (read: candybar with full physical QWERTY keyboard underneath the screen), it’s clearly aimed at those who simply can’t stop texting (or emailing, although how good that experience is on a featurephone is up for debate).

 

The ZTE Memo has a 2.4-inch display, a 2 MP camera with video recording, an MP3 player, microSD card support, 3G, stereo Bluetooth 2.1, and a 1,150 mAh battery. It also comes with a Web browser, Cricket Navigator, and MyHomeScreen preinstalled.

The ZTE Memo is now available in Cricket stores for $99.99, and you’ll also be able to purchase it online soon.

US Cellular has just official announced the release of new smartphone, the BlackBerry Curve 9350. This handset is US Cellular‘s second RIM smartphone with BlackBerry 7 OS (after the BlackBerry Torch 9850).
