Another very entry level phone has just launched by Mobilicity. The Huawei U2801 is now available for priced at $49.99 outright. This Huawei candybar handset is also released by WIND in Canada last week but cost $65.
New Huawei U2801 is a simple phone that ideal for those just texting and talk only. The U2801 phone packs a small 1.8-inch TFT display with QQVGA (120 x 160) resolution, a VGA camera, and Bluetooth 2.0.

It is runs Brew operating system paired with 64M RAM, and 128MB ROM. Its battery is enabling up to 5 hours of talk time, 360 hours of standby.
Dimensions of Huawei U2801 are 111.5 x 46 x 14.1 mm and weighs 76grams.

Softbank has official announced a new Android smartphone in Japan, the Softbank Vision 007HW. New handset is manufactured by Huawei and has just 11mm thickness.

Running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, the Huawei Vision 007HW smartphone is boasts a 1GHz processor.

Huawei Ideos X5 and X6 with Android Froyo officially announced

First seen at the end of October, the Huawei Ideos X5 and Ideos X6 are now official, as Huawei has announced them in Australia.
Both smartphones run Android 2.2 Froyo at the moment, but they’ll most likely be updated to Gingerbread after launch – since Gingerbread’s hardware requirements are similar to Froyo’s.
The Huawei Ideos X6 – pictured below – is a high-end device, featuring a 4.1 inch WVGA capacitive display, HSPA (up to 14.4Mbps), Wi-Fi, GPS, Dolby Mobile surround sound, HDMI port, 1GHz processor, and a 5MP camera with HD video recording.
The Ideos X5 is smaller and has a 3.8 inch WVGA screen, HSPA, GPS, Wi-Fi, and a 5MP camera.

MEGAFON U8110 AND U8230 ANDROID SMARTPHONE HITS DECEMBER 6TH

MegaFon has announced a pair of Android smartphone that called the MegaFon U8110 and the MegaFon U8230. Both handsets are manufactured by Huawei Technologies. Announcement of the U8110 was held in February at the Mobile World Congress 2010 (Barcelona, Spain), and the U8230 was presented last summer.
Both MegaFon Huawei U8110 and U8230 smartphones have built-in 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi, microSD card slot (up to 16GB), and running Android 2.1 OS. In this case, MegaFon U8110 has features a 2.8-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 320 x 240 pixels (QVGA), while the MegaFon U8230 is 3.5-inch screen with resolution of 480 x 320 pixels (HVGA).

Low-End Android 2.2 Handset Coming from Huawei in August

Nameless little guy from Huawei has  Froyo (Froyo), a 2.8″ QVGA touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel camera, and HSDPA 3G. The Google logo is awfully prominent on the back, making me think this will be a “with Google” experience, but’s pretty up in the air right now. Android 2.2 has a few new features, like dedicated phone and browser shortcuts, Exchange support,  upgraded gallery, and portable hotspot functions. It’s interesting seeing a phone like this get the latest software, while stuff with more impressive specs will have to wait.

This phone looks awfully similar to two Android handsets that Huawei released this month and a few from MWC, which were also on the lower end. Nokia’s already proven that swamping the market with affordable but reliable handsets is a strategy the works overall, but won’t do Huawei any favours if they ever want to try to pierce the high-end Android smartphone market. Hey, maybe they’ll just stick to the low-hanging fruit for the forseeable future.

O2 from the UK will soon launch a new Huawei cellphone, more specifically the G7002 which has a price tag of approximately $60.

In terms of specifications the Huawei G7002 boasts a touchscreen, a 1.3-megapixel camera located on the back of the cellphone and FM radio. Other simple features include a battery life that can last 12 hours in stand-by mode, being a 2G cellphone, and working as a MP3/MP4 player.

Vodafone  mobile operator has announced budget Android phone, namely Vodafone 845.
The Vodafone 845 is supports in GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSDPA 900/2100 MHz network.

Vodafone 845 is manufactured by Huawei Technology and price of this phone is 150 EUR without contract. It will become available begin next month in 12 countries in Europe including UK.
